Hello, My name is Hugh Gummett. I am a graphic designer with a BA (Hons) in Design and Art Direction from Manchester Metropolitan University. Since graduating in 2007 I have enjoyed placements with the lovely people at Thoughtful and Truth in Manchester and Musgrave in Cumbria. I have also taken on freelance projects for clients ranging from an artist embroiderer to a web based forum for political discussion and debate. At present I am working for Modern Designers in Manchester where I have been involved in a wide variety of exciting projects including identity, branding and website design, in addition to artwork tasks. I enjoy producing ideas based design with a strong attention to detail. I have a particularly keen interest in typography, my type design has been published in Baseline magazine 
and displayed in the Catapult exhibition at Urbis.
